RIP Sad news. I loved that laugh of his. It will live on through his films. Condolences to his family. The Bandit's going to join Smoky Gleason and Snowman Reed .

And Dom DeLuise.

Sally Field might be the only one left from the original Smokey.

Looks like her, Little Enos and Junior are the only ones that could be considered stars of the movie are still alive.

I'd guess few are alive from the Cannonball movies, too, though, that was such an ensemble cast..

yes it is sad, of a heart attack too . I will always remember him coming into my brothers shop and buying an old looking stove for that movie he made in tampa florida . He gave my brother his autograph and took a picture with him and shook his hand . That meant a lot to my brother . I hope they are sitting on a front porch up there talking and having a good time . RIP Bandit and Johnny we love you and miss you .

I always liked him. He was a lot of fun as a guest on the old Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. He used to guest-host, too, and I remember the time he invited ex-wife Judy Carne on the show. And, of course, there was the centerfold.

He had a lot of miles on him. RIP.

He was quite the character and for those who don't know, was a "sex symbol" during those young, handsome years. Was a hit when he posed in Playgirl centerfold...no, not completely nude...

He was in numerous tv shows in addition to the movies mentioned. Evening Shade was one. He started acting very young, I believe in an early western tv show.

He owned a playhouse in his Jupiter FL town, was once married to Loni Anderson and I believe had an adopted son.

RIP, BR.

young burt was so gorgeous, manly, funny, and the biggest movie star in the world when I was a kid. Hollywood doesn't currently have, and won't ever again have, any star like him.
