The area along Old Trolley road is very nice. Lots of developments close to shopping. Gahagan is also a nice neighborhood. But as you head along Miles towards Ladson Road the area gets a little dumpy. Not dangerous or anything just lower income and not kept up very well.

Thank you so much......Is Gahagan a development or a town? Can you give me the name of a road in Gahagan?

Gahagan is a Rd in Summerville, runs from the Berlin G Meyers Expr. over to Miles Rd, lots of nice houses over there and a couple of developments....

Beer is a universal thing, not just Jersey, by the way what exit?

I know....

I am off of 12 of the AC exp....

I left S. Jersey back in early '87 and I haven't lived north of the M/D since other than 9 months in Ballston Spa NY for school......

It would take a lot of money and vacation to get me to move back....

I recommend the Old Trolley Rd /Oakbrook area- check the Bridges of Summerville or even a few minutes further Wescott Plantation since they always seem to have different size homes available for rent.
I lived in the Oakbrook area for a few years and loved it. Publix is right there, and Dog and Duck across the road - a bar with awesome bar food (I saw your comment about beer lol)
You can get different types of restaurants, salons etc right within a 10-15 min radius. I didnt realise how much I enjoyed that till I moved out to Cane Bay Plantation lol

Thank you for the reply..... I just asked the realtor about that area.

We are looking for some places to get a few beers. We have local places here and we are all like family. I was wondering if we would find some places like we have at home here in Jersey. My husbands last visit he went to Applebees..... No even close to what we have at home. It is very hard to meet people when you are in your 40's unless you post on here.

Tom yes we will look you up when we arrive as I know you like to drink beer too....haha
Are you a Philllies fan? Eagles fan? Nascar?
