We won't visit any of the Roadside Kitchen restaurants because of how the situation with Brett McKee was handled or not handled (depending on how you look at it).

eh...They have their reasons (and they are no doubt good ones or you would have heard about a lawsuit by now).
I must say, Roadside Kitchens have handled this turn of events with much more grace than Brett McKee has. He sure has a mouth on him.
It's amazing how people's emotions run wild when they only get one side of a story.
With that said, I never planned on visiting one of the Roadside Kitchens as they never appealed to me in the first place.
It's not flashy and may not be in the best building around, but the food we had at the Bombay reminded us of the places we would have indian food in Singapore. Give them a try and if you like spices the store next door is the place to go as well.
No one is emotional. Dn't be so quick to assume their is not a lawsuit or settlement.
I don't have a dog in this fight, but I'll comment anyway.
It isn't uncommon for a partner to get a settlement when they are terminated from a company. Actually, it generally is a legality that must be fulfilled in some way. Typically these require an attorney. This in no way means there is a lawsuit.
In this case, the terminated was a partner with a small ownership. His name (and face) was all over the company. No one can believe the actual business partners would vote him out for no reason. But who am I to speculate?
Moral of this story? Don't have partners.
