Ladles has reopened under the management and business plan that originally existed. The executive chef for all the Ladles locations, Jason, is the owner/operator of the Summerville location and they are open (once again) seven days a week. There was a little hiccup the past year with a different franchise owner, but things are back to the way they were when they first opened - many soup and sandwich selections, salads, rotating soup and sandwich specials and a friendly, helpful staff.

My husband and I were regulars at the original Summerville Ladles, but stopped patronizing when managment changed a little over a year ago. We are so thrilled that we can once again enjoy this gem of a restaurant so close to home.

There is a new one in The Shops at Coosaw. It's located off Dorchester Road at the entrance to Coosaw Country Club at the Hess station. YUMMM. I'm looking forward to seeing that shopping center fill up
