I live on James Island and I'd like to start making Boiled Peanuts for my downtown food concession. I'm not sure where to find the green peanuts in bulk. My publix only sells very small packages for around $3.50 per lb. Any help anybody can offer would be appreciated.

Take Maybank Hwy over to John's Island, stay on Maybank until you get to Main Rd, turn right, there is a market on the left that sells all kinds of produce..

Not in season now. You don't really start to see green peanuts until May or June.
