Is the common abbreviation for Charleston "chas"? Any other common nicknames or abbreviations? Sort of like Charlotte is "Queen City", Indianapolis is "Indy", etc..
Holy City (based on amount of churches, not the attitude).....Sin City...Chucktown...Charlytown....the city where the Ashley and Cooper rivers come together to form the Atlantic Ocean...the City where most people from Columbia wish they lived...the list goes on.....LOL
