Tried the new Smashburger that opened in Summerville for lunch today - it was fantastic! The burger was gorgeous - easily one of the best burgers I've had. Their sweet potato fries were crispy, and I am completely in love with the drink selection! Coke Zero Cherry Vanilla for me please! The only thing a bit iffy was the price - $12 for their large BBQ bacon cheeseburger, sweet potato fries and a regular drink.

I will probably go back again however!

Is it similar to Five Guys? I ask because I'm not a fan of Five Guy's burgers but I love a good burger.

Not like Five Guys. It's more like a good quality restaurant burger. Their Smashfries are outstanding. Hot dogs are great too.

Robynn, we went around 2pm, and it wasn't crowded at all.

I'm going to try the smashchicken next time I think - though I just might have to get another burger to make sure that the first one wasn't a fluke!!

It was not memorable. The rosemary fries....weren't. The burger was fine. Not compelling, not memorable, just fine. Newks is a much better eatery, just down a few steps.

I guess I am at a loss over the excitement a new burger place generates. Ho Hum.
