I don't understand your skipping the 13th floor reasoning. Maybe they don't call out the 13th floor, but the actual count is 19 floors, not that it really matters, at least to me.
No, it's not an important point and of course I was just joking about the "correction police" but I believe they skip counting the 13th for the sake of superstition. It's our tallest building outside of the churches but afaict it's 18 floors.

13 is seen unlucky with many buildings. Theyd rather pretend it doesnt exist at all.

I had the pleasure of living on the 13th floor of my dorm in grad school. I faced East and had the grand view of downtown Chicago and the Sears Tower! Luckily no paranormal activity experienced during my time there, and I was up at all hours. The elevators would always break down though, which I suppose was bad luck (or incompetent repairmen). That was a B.
Question on new development/new construction:
The hotel that was planned at the corner of Meeting and Huger Streets on the north east corner.
Was that shot down or is it on the back burner?
Seemed like an attractive design, maybe the BAR thought is was to contemporary for Charleston.
I'm having a hard time understanding that Hanahan growth.
I thought the same thing. Did Hanahan annex some unincorporated area?

As far as Hanahan goes there are some apartments going up near Bi-Lo
That's the future but what added to the current numbers? % wise, Hanahan grew at more than double the rate of any of the other cities listed if those figures are right.
