We currently live in Phoenix and are considering a move to Charleston. I had a couple of questions:
1) does anyone know how the job market is for Pharmacists in the area? We are open to surrounding areas. My husband has 15 years of experience as a compound pharmacist and has a reciprocal license.
2) does anyone know if there is a local school district that offers Chinese immersion in their public and or charter school programs? My children currently are in one now
thank you
Pharmacist jobs seems hit or miss. My wife looked for retail pharmacist jobs for a couple months before there was an opening that she could fit. Your husband might have better luck since he could work in more advanced jobs, but it didn't seem like the market was huge.
Pharmacy is an important health service that will always have opportunities. Although there are retail pharmacies, there is demand in compounding and hospital pharmacies.
