He did a lot of shopping around with companes that had high BBB ratings and it came out great.
Oh, and it is salt water.
Thanks for the info. May I ask who installed it?

If the pool is sloping down from the house and it's a pretty vista, consider putting an infinity edge on it.

I would personally go with an Acapulco ledge... no diving board and max out at 5 to 6 feet.

Not a bad idea. Saw some examples of the infinity edge, and it looks quite nice.

It's an exaggerated step into the pool where it's very shallow water - you sit on it hanging your feet into the pool as opposed to sitting on the scorching hot edge of the pool with your feet in.

I thought they called them sun shelf's? Never heard of acapulco edge. They are very inexpensive to add-on and are a nice option to sit a adirondack or a recliner on. Lots of people also have a umbrella sleeve installed in them.

Regarding the infinity edges, real real nice, very expensive. Very rarely will you see them, other than multi-million dollar homes.

My opinion must haves....Spa, automation, salt, obviously heater. Sun shelfs, if you are building a big enough pool. Beach entry if you are building a ginormous pool!

Just a caution on the infinity edge for pools. I know 2 people who have had small dogs drown in the spillover area (where the spillover water collects to be recirculated). If they fall in, they cannot get out and the recirculating area is by definition not visible unless you walk around to the far side of your pool.
