Oh, yes during the TLC (R&B/Rap Group) phase I had a pair of super baggy jeans, but I was very young at the time. I felt very proud to be expressing myself as a young teen, but not soon enough I moved on to a new trend with my own style applied to it.
What's funny is that when cut up jeans came out (and many people still wear them) they revealed a lot of skin and no one complained. -Just a thought Also, there were no complaints when women were wearing bras as a fashion statement.
However, I would like to see the sagging pants trend move on. It has been around for too long and young people need a new look. Unfortunately, skinny jeans are not for everyone...
That is sickening fer shur but I don't think it is a matter of race. I wonder why folks seem to seek out ways to make stuff into racial issues?
I can't see the difference - either outfit is comprised of exposed underwear. To me, the story says that flight attendants don't have a problem with Drag Queens but they don't want guys in saggy pants on the plane. I personally find the panties more offensive than the saggy pants and underwear . . . both are distasteful. It does seem like a case for discrimination - but not on basis of race.
Since the style is a form of rebellion this cartoon may work.

... wearing pj's in public... It is laziness, disrespect and ignorance all rolled in to one.
Haha. I used to wear pj's out all the time in college. Now I do, but on rare occasions, like when I am running to the grocery. Laziness? Maybe, but pjs are some of the cutest pants in my opinion. Disrespect and ignorance? That is an exaggeration for sure. I hope people don't really feel disrespected just because some one is wearing some super cute pajama bottoms outside the house... That person needs to take a chill pill.

I used to have a pair of Pillsbury pyjamas that I'd wear sometimes. I actually liked the way they matched/clashed with certain shirts or shoes. Too bad they were accidentally taken to a roomate's girlfriend's house , with her laundry , and fell into the 'abyss'.
I still have yet to see someone (outside of college) wearing pajamas in public. Must be a Gastonia thing.
