I'm going to assume that bs meant "will it cool down for more than one day". 'Course that could just be bs. Well, obviously that's just bs.

One of the things I do like about August is that we start rapidly ramping up chances of hurricanes hitting the US. Giving us the opportunity for the drenching rains we need in this area...

Emily is about to form...worth it to watch where it goes....

Its a great point Jack..Coastal areas should always be very concerned about tropical formation. But with the current dry hot weather and us 100 miles inland as the crow flies? Best thing that can happen to this area. The odds of a Hugo are very very slim. You needed a monster storm to move quickly and take a path right at us.

I agree. It's something I look forward to every year. The rain only though, no destruction.

Not at my house. Someone needs to do a study. It dried up and reformed right after passing over, just like 99% of the systems that come through here.

It went north of me & south of me. Not a drop here in Kings Mountain, & my rain water is all used up.
