Nice to see they are giving people a chance at employment. Unless they are white, of course.

Yes, I can tell that white people are not being given a chance at employment in this state. Just look at the unemployment rate versus that of any other minority. Or women.

Charlotte Latin's administration must be racist!

Why are so many taking this as being racist. This is just one way of reaching out to people of color. Anyone who wants to attend, can attend. It is a way of putting teachers of color into classrooms,. most likely to fulfill a quota. It does not mean that people of color are getting the edge up. I can turn this into a storybook, but won't. If you feel unrepresented, sign up for Teach for America or just apply to the school with openings.

I did not "assume". I "read" the "words".

If a local group held a job fair that was marketed for the "traditional white worker" would that be racist? I'm not saying this is a bad thing for this group to hold, they can do it all they want. I just find it amusingly ironic.

Nemnet is a minority recruiting firm. They do specialize in the recruitment of "people of color". It is a racially motivated organization.
