I live in Mooresville on the old side of town and am looking for something to dock a 19ft x 7ft boat.

Any help would be appreciated.

If possible, put it in dry storage. Keeping it at a lakeside marina is very expensive. It is more expensive than when I stored mine in Florida. The last place I kept my boat was on Catwaba Avenue, Cornelius just past Jack's bar and grill going south (towards #73. I paid $50 a month but it was fensed in and secure. You won't have a problem out this way, but space is a hard to find occasionally.

The problem with that is we want to have it in the water at all times. We don't want to have to launch it and bring it in every time we use it.

Thank you for the info though, I'll still explore my options.

A dry storage facility will put the boat in the water before you arrive and take it out for storage after you leave. Or call Stutts. But you better get on it now. There is usually a waiting list for wet slips. Some are quite long.

Be careful with a 19 foot boat on Lake Norman. I almost sunk my 18-footer on some boat wakes a few years ago. I don't think I've ever been more surprised than that. Bow goes up, bow goes down, water comes over the bow in such a wave that I got soaked over the top of the windshield.
