ElectriCities...really? (Huntersville: costs, electric bill, electric)

ElectriCities mistake means higher electric bills coming | Huntersville Herald

Anybody else get the letter saying "Sorry, we didn't charge you enough for the last 4 months, so we're just going to add it to your future bills"?

1. Anything like this ever happen before?
2. How the heck did they not realize that they were "undercharging" people for FOUR MONTHS?

Oh yeah I did. First thing I said was how interesting it was that the transformer blew last month, and all of a sudden 'we forgot to charge you for all your power in the summer so we're going to charge you between $12 and $24 extra for the next few months.' I'm sure all extra money could help pay for that 100k transformer.

Althought after reading the article I see that the mistake costs much more than the transformer and deals with Huntersville too. Still. Poo.
