Two different stores. The Steele Creek store is at 49 & 160, the Whitehall store is at 49 & 485.
Yes, I did miss a Publix grand opening. It will be nice to attend one.
Bi-Lo had two stores on South Tryon Street. They were among the seven stores Publix acquired last year.
Instead of opening both stores at the same time, it appears to be a wise decision to open one store first, get business going, and open up the other store.
Would this be on the site recently occupied by a four-level office building at 4425 Randolph Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28211-2351, adjacent to Chick-fil-A and across from Harris Teeter #208 at Cotswold Mall?
Another Publix site location to throw out there is Prosperity Church Rd where Ridge Rd is being extended - next to the Aldi and across from Harris Teeter.

Publix does not have a store in northeastern Mecklenburg County yet.
Rumors of sites for additional Publix stores appear to be picking up.
