Next year I hope to be teaching in Cabarrus County Schools or Kannapolis City Schools but I was planning on living with my friend, probably in North Charlotte. I was wondering if this would be a reasonable commute for a teacher, considering I would be an hour ahead of normal commuters. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seeing as how you would be going against most traffic doing that, I think your commute would be reasonable.
Yes if you lived around Huntersville area everyone else would be coming this way down Highwy 73. Should not be bad at all.
