I don't think diversity is a panacea - but it can be a factor to help to equalize educational disparities. Money is a much bigger factor. Family income is still the biggest driving force behind educational success. Parental education levels are another determining factor as well! Poor people lack networking skills and even if they have those networking skills, they have no "network" to access! Unless you can create a level educational playing field for all students, the "diversity" that will result, is who went to Harvard and who's in jail!

Here's the reality:

More Americans View Blacks As Racist Than Whites, Hispanics - Rasmussen Reports™

The most racist people are black people. When answered with anonymity even black people say that blacks are the most racist. This is the reality we face today. The problem is that there's one standard for a black person and one for a white person. Racism in America exists, but it's not what the liberals want you to think it is. (This is coming from a person that isn't a right wing conservative person either).

Thanks for being absolutely correct yet "politically incorrect." You could add Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Sweden to the list but as they become more and more diverse, their problems including education are amassing. I remember when places like Minneapolis and Boston had great educational status before they became diverse. Of course it is also not politically correct to mention that our cities and states with the most diversity are the ones that are highest in crime and lowest in educational achievement. Diversity is fine, but it sure is helpful if those that make it diverse are highly inspired, motivated individuals like Japanese, Indian, Vietnamese, etc. that want to be challenged in schools and earn scholarships. Diversity is good as long as our community and schools aren't dragged down as a result. Diversity usually includes those that have no desire to assimilate. That isn't a good thing. We don't all have to live together to be happy. As a matter of fact, when we all live together, we tend to gravitate to our own anyway. I am sure that things will be lots better if Clinton is elected when she can bring in undocumented immigrants and stick them into our schools immediately and get tons of future votes. I love people, but I prefer good, vetted ones.

This is absolutely the truth. Only an idiot in denial would argue the point. I know practically all southerners. We don't sit around and talk about race as we never know the other person's views and we don't wish to be insulting. But despite what many of them believe, white conversations aren't about the "N" word. We tend to be more intellectual generally. Of course if we see some moron come in with pants down to his knees, speaking some unknown dialect of possibly English, we will talk about it for that moment. But, what person with a brain wouldn't?

Are you a good reader?

The study and it's headline is about the perception of racism based on race. Your first sentence "the most racist people are black people" and the conclusion of the study are not the same.

Your opinion, however, would explain why the study found that "most people think black people are the most racist" because you obviously hold this view. The casual dismissing of race related issues and blame shifting helps explain this mindset. Many Americans are tired of hearing about race related issues and this study reflects that fatigue. What it doesn't do, is prove that racism doesn't exist, or that "black people are the most racist."

Research has found that maintenance factors (new modern schools vs old but heated/air-conditioned schools) have no bearing on the performance of students. Decades of trial bussing, social engineering, and pouring money into low performing schools has had no effects on either socialization or academic achievement. If poor (we'll use the term poor) people don't care, their parent(s) don't care, students aren't motivated and know that the government will provide the basics, use race and environment for all failures, are aware that they can probably get a government job with tenure with very little physical involvement even if they have a criminal record since Obama wants to not require disclosing arrest information on applications. As noted before, historically, the Chinese were the poorest immigrants in this country followed by the Vietnamese refugees after the war. The Indians and other Asians and numerous Hispanics came to this country with virtually nothing and are the tops in classes and winning numerous "academic" scholarships. This is proof that it is up to the individual. Most of our ancestors that came to this country were far more desperate than the poor today. They helped each other instead of killing each other. That is a big difference. My point, there will always be poor people. All we can do is to have education and vocational opportunities available for those that earn the positions. If people don't strive to get ahead and compete, it is their problem unless genuinely handicapped either physically or mentally. It is not the fault of those that are not poor. You can't make people smart when they don't want to be smart and you can't make people industrious if they don't want to be industrious. You can't force common sense into someones head. People need to do what they are capable and do the best they can. School isn't for everyone and there are training opportunities available for those that need assistance. But, there again, you can't make them go to classes and try. Some do.

All one needs to do is to look at the FBI reports and notice that there is a huge disparity in the number of killings between races. One race (I won't mention) tend to kill lots more of other races than other races. That might be a clue.

Did you read the whole thing or just what you wanted? Every single race (blacks included) said that blacks are the most racist. It's right there. The poll was done in 2013 before it became ok to tear down communities because a thug was killed.

Read my post again or have someone explain it to you. Whether or not blacks think blacks are racist, the poll doesn't prove what you wrote!
