The most concentrated bars, uptown, lined up along one street, besides the EpiCenter is 5th St between N. Church St and College. Dandelion, Tequila House, Roxbury, Cowbell's, SIP, Binaco, Ri Ra's, Prohibition, The Local and Connolly's.

The street is nothing but one big traffic nightmare on the weekends at night.

"Downtown Charlotte"...I haven't heard of that place...where is it? We do have a lot of bars and restaurants all around a place called "Uptown Charlotte" if you choose to go there instead.

If you were here before 1974 you might know where downtown is. It was after that the city leaders proclaimed it "uptown".
