Have you tried Yahoo real estate? I'm looking in Cleveland County & Lincoln County. I was looking at realtors' websites, but Yahoo is much better.

UPDATE!!! We found a house, it has almost everything we wanted and is going to be great for our kids. Thanks for all of your help

Where is it? What did you end up finding and on what site?

We put an ad out on craigslist and someone that had a home for sale and contacted us to rent it. It is in Barbee Farms in Monroe. My children will go to Porter Ridge Elementary, which I hear is very good.

I know how frustrated it can be. We recently rented a house, but it was difficult sorting through all of the ads, some of them expired, and not knowing the area. We finally settled on Berewick for the rental which seems to fit our needs.

We connected with one of the realtors who posts in this forum and she was very helpful in showing us around. (Hi Robin!)
