O.k. I need someone's help. We are trying to find a house to rent, either in Indian Trail, Monroe, or Wingate. 3-4 bedrooms, 2 baths, decent neighborhood where kids can play. $1000 or less. We had one lined up in Wingate and someone else put in an application, too and the landlord picked them. My husband is already working there, my kids have 2 days of school left and I am ready to go. Any help would be appreciated. If you see signs in a neighborhood, if you would give me an idea of where the neighborhood is, I would appreciate it. I tried going over there and driving around, but there is too much ground to cover.

Thanks
Terri

Any reason why you are looking to rent rather than buy? It is easier to find homes that way. Just curious.

My husband is being transferred and it could be a year, two years or five, we don't know how long we will be there. For his next promotion, we will have to move again. It took us forever to sell our last house in FL and we are not ready to go that route again. I want to be able to pack up and move, if I have to with no strings attached.

Have you checked Craigslist? You will have a hard time finding that price range in Indian Trail for what you are looking for, but you may find some good deals in the Monroe burbs and a lot in Wingate with the college kids gone. You could contact realty offices and ask if they have any rentals. Allan Tate Company and Madil-Mitchem company have Wingate reps. Never hurts to ask.

I have been on every website that I can find, I check Craigslist several times each day, because it is updated throughout the day, I have contacted several realtors, and the only two property management companies around there that I can find. That is the reason I am posting here. I have read the newspaper and called there, also.

We might be able to go up a little more depending on when we move in. Right now, my husband is the only one working and I won't be able to look for a job until after school starts.

Go into site THE ENQUIRER JOURNAL they have a classified section with 114 homes for rent in the are you are searching. I don't know anything about any area that is shown but it could give you a good start.

There are several one in Indian Trail and one in Wesley Chapel.

Good luck to you, hope this helps.

Have you tried this one in Brandon Oaks? (MLS number 706034) It is for sale but they may be willing to rent? I know they were doing a lease purchase option as well as trying to sell it. It is 4 bedrooms 2.5 baths.
If you go to CarolinaHome.com and put that mls number in it will give you pictures of the home. It is offer by Carol Tyson (704) 296-5465 with The Real Estate Link, you might want to call her to see.
