Hi,
Im looking for a good quality installer, perhaps even a name of particular employee, to install window tint on my car. Im not a teenager, nor do I drive a Mercedes, I just want decent work for a reasonable price.

Also, does anyone know if tint would hold up against dog paws/nails?

Thanks for your help!

whoever does it for you make sure they comply with North Carolina law or you could end up with a ticket and paying to have it removed

We used Auto/Fx in Pineville and were very happy with the job they did. They had all good reviews on Angies List when I had the job done two years ago.

I wouldn't go to AutoFX now...
2 years ago...yes.
But they have gone thru about 5 or more installers in a 2 year span.
So no1 there has a good record for good installation.

I stopped there before I went to SunStoppers

I was wondering about Auto Xpressions too, since they are 5 min. from my house... I am leaning more towards going the extra distance and using Sun Stoppers, simply because I am hearing more positive word-of-mouth about them.

When I worked in sales for a local new car dealership, we used Auto Toyz on North Tryon, just south of Harris Blvd. They always seemed to do good work. I just bought a new truck and plan on getting my windows tinted also, so I have been thinking about using them.

I used Lightning Mikes a few years back. They did a good job.

I just bought a used Mercedes from Beck imports, in Charlotte. I had wanted my windows tinted on it and asked them if they could refer me to a place in the area. They said they deal with Sun Stoppers. I have heard of them but wasnt sure how they were. I live in Mooresville so I went to the Lake Norman location. They had me in and out within 2 hours. I was very satisfied with the job. It was a little hard to find but was well worth the drive for sure. I would highly recommend this company!
