Cleaning up your house after using a sword on the bad guy is something I'd definitly bring the pros in for. I picture the scene from Kill Bill in my living room. Don't think that'll come out with soap and water

Does "Oxiclean" trump "Luminol" on the carpets? With all those rolling heads though, I'm still partial to curare-tipped poison darts - much less messy! Save the swords for vinyl or stone floors. I use the Swiffer-CSI edition for them.

Shooter's Express in Blemont is $15 per hour. You can use their hearing and eye protection, but I generally prefer to bring my own. Targets are $2 or so each depending on which one you want.

Shooter's allows pistols and rifles. Call to see if your ammunition is suitable for their range or you can buy from them. They are kind of proud of their ammo though.

I've taken my AR-15 there a few times and I've had good experiences there.

I'm not sure how much the other ranges charge for time.

Another cool thing about Shooter's is that you can rent full autos there. I believe they have an M-16 and a MP5 you can shoot. $30 plus ammo, I think. You'd be better off to just roll up a hundred dollar bill and toss it out the window. You'll go through ammo so fast you might not even remember it.

Default range

you can also get a membership at shooters express. Which covers your range time and gun rentals, all you need to pay for is the bullets. Also they sell some targets for a quarter.

There are other ranges other than Shooters....Google is your friend. Fire Power and Firing Point are two that spring to mind. Don't forget for every hour on the range aim to do 2 to 3 in force on force drills and scenario training if you're learning for self protection.

Don't be like this.... LiveLeak.com - how not to shoot a hand gun

(I do not agree with the gender comments on the link. This could be a guy or a gal!)

Went to Firepower in Monroe last weekend and I must say that it is a very nice facility. Cheaper than Shooter's Express and cleaner looking. Pistol caliber only there though. No rifles except for pitol calibers. .22lr is fine.

Highly reccomended.
