Ok Im just wondering something. I have not seen one adult store (xxx) and am wondering why? Is it because there's strict regulations on them? Is it because we are in the "bible belt"?? If you know of a good clean one (lol) you can DM with the info if you like. The bf and I were discussing this last night because they are all over Miami.

There is one on westbound Hwy 74, it is beside CB Barn and the Tarot Card reader.
Not that I have ever been there, but I do pass it every day.

Hello, Himain!

The only one I know of - and they have been advertising even on TV for at least four or five years - is The Red Door. I tried their website just now, tho, and it says it is down . . . have no clue why.

But here is a map and some reviews I found:

Reddoor - Charlotte, NC

Supposed to be more like a lingerie and ummm - gadgets store. Maybe video rentals or purchases, too . . . at one time, appears they had tanning beds . . .

I would think with so many mail-order and Internet businesses, most of those local stores would have a very limited number of walk-in customers these days due to the embarrassment factor.

Actually because they are non descript on the outside, no one really knows what's on the inside, the embarrassment factor is pretty low.

You know, you're right! I never noticed that until now. I know I have seen one on South Blvd south of Tyvola. And I think there is one advertised on a billboard as you go south on 85 from Charlotte out toward Gastonia, maybe past Gastonia.

I've actually been in that one too. Its stranger. You go in the front door & you're in a room where a guy stares at you from behind a window. You have to leave bags & so forth with him. He then buzzes you through into the store itself. Its mostly videos. There are toys on the far wall, some magazines & a counter area. The parking lot is gravel/dirt & the entrance can't be seen from the road. Its been awhile since I've been there. There are much nicer places to go.

you left off the cages that the videos and I think some of toys are kept in so you cannot read the back cover and the ones in dvd format are just copies from a vhs and many are dated in the 80's or mid 90's
from what I have heard
