When we all know - no one actually goes to a prostitute . . .
Who is it that uses these services? Last week, it was some massage parlor, this weekend, a Gastonia bust . . . so who is it that is using their, uh, services?????
I have the slightest clue why not just get it for free or use an escort since those are legal and are even publish in the phone book.
Exactly, LOL.
I see the mug shots and it makes me so sad. These women always look awful - beaten down by life and unkempt - some even look sick. I have been told a lot of times, they are drug addicts. So obviously they are living miserable lives. The thing is . . . they wouldn't be in business if no one was using their services. . . the whole thing just creeps me out.
What a terrible situation for the women. They look so completely downtrodden and hopeless.
Judging from the pictures of the hos in the article the question should be: Who in their right mind would use their services?
My point, yes!! Someone IS using their services. Who would do that? I mean - the women get busted but they couldn't be out selling themselves if someone wasn't buying.
Kinda seems wrong to me that the women always go to jail and the guys just walk off.
Maybe there are guys out there that like the downtrodden look? On the other hand a lot of the johns that get busted are no prizes themselves.
True, but we rarely see the johns. In Kansas City, they post the pictures of the johns (or did when I lived there) wh/ is only right, if they are gonna post the women's pictures. I mean - takes two to tango. No arrests if no business were taking place . . . just seems like a crime that shouldn't mean only the women are hauled off to jail. Just my thoughts on it . . . doesn't seem fair.
I believe, from what I've read in the various places I've lived, and from working with some patients who had worked the streets for drugs, that most guys get, umm, how to phrase this? mouth work. And the street girls are cheap and not very particular when they need drug money. I think the paper should publish names of all the johns involved, let them share some of the shame. I'm sure their wives/girlfriends have no idea of the risks they are bing exposed to.

Ani, off the wall, I would go as far as say that it would be men that want to have sex. I personally find it pretty repulsive. Heck, I am one of those guys that uses the bio lotion on my hands every time I touch something that has germs. I certainly don't want a person that has been passed around. But some people do. Some guys have wives that, "Just say no", others are simply unable to find a partner, some may have disabilities that doesn't allow the individual to enjoy this humanly gift, and finally, there are those that are just "naughty".
The worse thing I see in prostitution is the disease factor. God is the one to judge the sin department. Sometimes a guy simply needs someone to communicate with. Of course, with a prostitute you get a little extra. Also, there are situations where a wife isn't able to have sexual intercourse and the husband fulfills this need without having a threatening affair. Many may see this as a horrible thing, but I find it as a loving gesture in some situations. Prostitutes are like social workers, they provide many services and don't really have to study very hard to become qualified.
The prostitute that one sees overseas is quite different from the typical street pro in the U.S. Unfortunately most in the U.S. are drug users, have diseases, and are controlled by a pimp. This is truly a horrible situation Prostitution has always been around (some say it is the oldest profession even though my uncle says that sales is the oldest), and always will. At least it could be cleaned up and taxed as it is in Nevada.
P.S. I do not use the service of prostitutes. I have just seen them around the cities in which I have lived for many of my years.
