is there high crime?
is that why its cheap?

I'm not familiar with Lincolntown but I recommend you use the search feature and I also recommend sperlingsbestplaces.com I did both and got a wealth of info on Kannapolis prior to moving.

It's cheap because it is so rural and not near anything. It's just a nice little small rural town, which is growing as people spill over from the lake Norman area trying to get away from the crowds.

I have a chance to buy a perked 1 acre lot in Lincolnton for 10k
I havent been there to view it in person. It is in a sub division though.
