I just booked a flight to Jersey. Seems it's pretty cheap to fly US Air over the Hudson right now. I got $138.00 round trip to Newark! Cool Beans, huh?

I'm thinking that's the time of year. That price might start going up once the weather gets warmer but wow...that's some deal. How long ya staying?

That is a GREAT deal! I don't even look at flights anymore...just figure it's too expensive to pay for 4 seats. The only place we won't be driving is to Idaho to see the in-laws. That's just a little too far.
Doorway, that's so cheap you should buy extras! Even with a fee to change the dates, you would still be getting a deal.

I'm just going up for a long weekend. My brother is turning 50 so we're having a surprise party for him. He paid $240 to come in Dec. but that was over the holiday so that might be why. This is the brother that lives in your old hood on Johnston Ave. The party is in Brick.

You're right. It would probably cost more to drive??? I was planning on driving so I could make a stop in Maryland, but for this price.............

Speaking of old hoods, find that Transplants places you miss most thread for a slew of youtubes I posted over the weekend.

I'd like to see those rates stay exactly like that because I'm itching to get back up there for a long weekend by sometime this summer.

I just love it how some posts get deleted/closed and some don't even after numerous requests...

Anyways, I have some extra non perishable food I don't want and want to donate it. Any ideas?

That is terrific! Really - I don't know if you could drive it for that - especially considering the wear and tear on the car/tires.

So neat you can get back from the celebration!

If you just factor in just the gas it definitely comes to more than that. Trust me, I know. Oh boy do I know.
