Ooohhh - the formula I have come up w/ for a romance novel is - there always have to be 2 men vying for the same woman . . . part of the action has to include unrequited love . . .

In 1939, a young Priest, Connor Hampton, finds himself drawn to the innocent and beautiful choir director, Brianna Worthington . . . who is secretly in love with rich, handsome bad boy, Hunter Sands . . . who has joined the Army because (according to rumor in the small town of Lakewood) he has gotten Christine Powell (a girl from the wrong side of the tracks) preggers. So to avoid a family scandal, Sands drops out of Harvard and joins the Army, and ships out to a joint forces training facility outside of London.

No no no...Hunter Sands has to be the rich type. Owns numerous businesses, homes around the Hamptons, Martha's Vineyard, vacations on exotic islands, you know...really lives the high falootin' life.
Then the priest...battling his own faith in the face of someone he has fallen in love with.
Brianna's dilemma: choosing jet setting Hunter Sands or Connor Hampton, a man of the cloth struggling with his religious obligations.
