Conner? Ali Fosterhome can't go after him, dufuss!!! He's her long lost brother who was given up at birth and raised by a priest. The same priest who told Ali where to find Hunter!!!
Brian - I had heard about NASCAR romance novels cause I responded to an ad that ran here about five years ago . . . looking for writers to do that type of romance novel. But they didn't like my newspaper/magazine background - they wanted experienced novelists. SIGH.
I never followed up to see if such novels had actually been printed. Wonder if it was the publisher who I had responded to - who is now actually publishing that stuff . . . ?? I will need to google it . . .

What I could do is I am planning on picking her up to enjoy the holiday's down here but Im not when I will pick her up due to it snow's there alot and deep. When I do pick her up I can snoop and shop a physical store due to it getting closer to Christmas and Ill let you guys know then.
Great idea Sunny. My gramma lived in a little town on Lake Michigan, 40 miles for the nearest "good" shopping, so where, when & how she got them was a mystery to all.
I found them when I was in her house & saw a book that had fallen to the floor. She had made a book cover with a paper bag, & I flipped through & realized that it was the latest racy romance novel that summer (1972). I just kept my eyes open & then noticed other covered paperbacks.
Google the authors to know which type they write & that will tell you which type to buy.
If she reads the racy variety, how about giving her a gift card & note or a hand writtten note & cash, that you are taking her to a bookstore to select whatever books she wants to take back with her. That way you won't get embarassed & she can keep her secret.
IF it makes you feel better . . . I will officially declare myself Queen of Doofuses. Ask my family. They will agree.
