I second Mamma Ricotta's. On Sunday and Monday they have a special menu that is "the stuff you would have on Sundays". Lasagna, Baked ziti, chicken parm, etc....and half price bottles of Italian wine, in addition to the regular menu. I've been meaning to try Villa Antonio's but it looks like a place I wouldn't bring kids. Is that right?
Doorway, V.A. is pretty fancy. I never noticed if there were kids when we ate there, but we don't have kids ourselves, so to be honest that's the kind of thing I'm a little "tone deaf" on. I will check our Mamma Ricottas!
villa antonio, Angelas in Mint Hill, Portofino's at Selwyn and park
Angelas uses WAY too much sauce. Last time we went there I couldn't even tell what was underneath it.
