Hi,
I'm a intersted in relocating to the Charlotte area in April 09. I'm in my 20's and I'm looking for a fun hip part of town. The area also being diverse in ethnicity and social background is a plus too. I'm looking for a one bedroom apartment with rent not exceeding $750/mo. My new office is located in Concord so a commute of no more than 20-25mins is ideal. I'm originally from Northern VA so rush hour traffic is ok. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this is my first real move out of my comfort (family) zone.

Also, if you have any links that can show me more of Charlotte that would be great too!

Hi Silly Concord is a nice place, but not the place you want to live if you are looking for "hip". Look to live in Plaza Midwood, I sense that is right up your alley. Use the search button above and put in the name "urbancharlotte". This guy has quit posting recently but he previously posted MANY links about life in Charlotte - you'll love them. Check out criags list for available rentals - just look for things listed in "Plaza Midwood". Commute will be at least 30 minutes, but not bad as most of it will be going against traffic for you from there to Concord.
