Like that makes a difference? It's the same thing, different location. The point I am making is that what you are describing happens everywhere and the entire subject has absolutely no bearing on the OP's question.

Save your personal attacks, at least I am on this forum to help newcomers, not spread negativity. I seem to be a much happier person than you, married or not. And I'm not by choice, darling.

This sort of thing makes me irate. I can't believe that no one is cracking down on these developers' practices. From the article, I gather that it's the state's responsibility to police this, but no one at the state-level cares enough to take initiative.

I dont believe you caused any harm. A rather reasonable question if you ask me.

Really?

How often is the 7 mile stretch protest, if the square is bi monthly?

TIA.

Modified to add: If you know the name of the group(s), I'll Google those to find out more. I'm guessing this is part of the illegal immigrant population (many Latinos self ID as Catholic)?

I don't know who puts on these things, and they seem rather sporadic, rather than regularly scheduled, in nature. But uptown it's either the crazy screaming preacher guy or the anti-abortion crowd with their aborted fetus pictures on sticks parading around at Trade and Tryon. Screaming Preacher Guy is there all the time, when he's not yelling at the college kids on the UNCC campus.

I am all for free speech, but for me, it's a bit irritating because those tactics rarely change people's minds.

Not much there since most of the furniture companies have left. Oh I forgot there is the Overpriced furniture mart. Most don't realize that most furniture store will match price with a little negotation. Do they still do all the anti-abortion demonstrations on the street in front of the furniture mart. 2 Miles of people with sings and crosses...spectacular!
Anti abortion protest on Wendover Rd in Charlotte as well. I see them on my way to work many times.

ACTUALLY, the majority of Latinos in the Charlotte area are protestant, though of course some are still Catholic

If you are really interested contact the Catholic Diocese in Charlotte - every October is the respect life Sunday when folks silently stand against abortion along some major thoroughfares for miles.
