Union County DSS is looking for donations of new or gently used clothing items for children in their care. There is a huge need for school uniform items (khaki pants & polo shirts - white, navy, baby blue or red) as they haven't received any of these items this year to date.

Yeah, those scam artists are thinking hard of ways to get pencils, crayons, school supplies, and clothes for school aged children! Better watch out - I'm sure a truck will pull up in front of my house any day now selling "hot" crayons and school uniforms.
Saralee, that's great you are doing this - I'm in Union County and mine are too young to have school uniforms to donate, but it's good to know this exists for when they are a little older.

Union County Mommies is a national non-profit organization (The Mommies Network) that I'm assisting with the school supply drive. Their credentials are easily verified.
I offered to collect for individuals interested in donating to possibly make the process simpler for someone. I work closely with DSS. However, I also stated that these items are for Union County DSS - please, give them a call and make arrangements to drop off any items directly. Your generosity and kind spirit will be greatly appreciated.
And for future reference, if I set my sights on scamming anyone, I'd go big time. I'm not interested in hussling crayons out of the hands of small children.
I'm a long-time member here, several of the veteran members know me on a personal (in real life contact) basis - including my home address and where I work. Please be more mindful of the accusations in the future.
