Mint Hill Sports Bar Question (Matthews: home, live, shopping center)

I noticed there is a sports bar in the shopping center next to Lowes Foods called "Rookies sports bar and grill (I think that's the name)". Does anyone have experiences they would like to share? Is it a really good sport bar? Just thinking in advance for Panther games with friends. Tia!

Its a decent place to watch a game...personally I like the atmosphere better at Kristopher's in Matthews..and better wings...

Rookies is okay, except that there must not be ANY ventilation system. I've never come home from a bar smelling more like smoke than Rookies. My husband and I live very close and would go there all the time if it weren't so smokey. As it is now, we never go. If you're a smoker, I'd give it a thumbs up. If you're a non-smoker, you may want to wait until the smoking ban goes into effect.
