I am looking at Falcon Ridge (Eastwood Home). Does anyone have insight into the community and the homes built by Eastwood in this community?

This is nice community in a nice location. From my experiences Eastwood builds a good home. Are there particular questions that you have for this specific neighborhood?

I agree with previous poster -- I like Eastwood as a builder for that price point. I have sold several Eastwood homes, and the inspectors found only minor issues on the homes.

It is great to hear these good feedbacks. DH and I are currently working with Eastwood Homes in Mintworth Village and we are very excited about it. So far Eastwood has seemed to weather the housing storm pretty well. They are not pulling out of any developments as far as I know, unlike some other builders unfortunately..

I've lived in my Eastwood home for a little over a year now. No problems, no complaints.

We were told it will be more level and it would be a "gradual decline" 4 months later when I started my new job, I went to the home for the 1st time since November, only to see a steep slope. I was told that it was the final product and no additional dirt was going to be put down to level off the yard. When I spoke to the salesman and asked what happened to the "gradual decline" you spoke of, he totally denied saying it. We did not take the home and lost half of our $1000 deposit. We eventually bought a resale home in a community very close to Coventry that was much bigger and with almost 3 times the amount of land for $8500.00 less. Although the actual construction process went very smooth, be careful of the lot choices. I can't speak for other Eastwood communities, but Coventry is very very hilly.
I think if I were spending $150k plus on a home I'd have had something as significant as this written in the contract. Cant fault the builder on this- kinda like the folks who moved next door to a compost farm and then complained about it's smell.

We've lived in our Eastwood home for 2 1/2 yrs now. They were very responsive to the few needs we had, and even fixed things they weren't liable for. I would rate them 4.5/5.
