I took a few classes through UNCC in order to get the certification, but I wasn't in the actual program. I only took two classes out of the six that I needed through UNCC, so take my words with a grain of salt if you want, but I had good experiences with both. One was online and one was in person. I got a lot out of the in-person class. If you're considering teaching, you should also check into the Charlotte RALC, which allows you to take classes through a number of colleges and universities.
