I was wondering, since my husband and I are moving into the area, if Lake Norman was a good area? It seems like the prices are really reasonable for apartments and condos in that area! Any info on whether it's worth looking into, or should we avoid it like the plague?

Ha, avoid it like the plague? That's HILARIOUS to those of us familiar, because the Lake Norman area is one of the most desireable areas of Charlotte-metro and there are a lot of threads about it. Good luck--

I appreciate the input! I figured that would be one of the nicest areas to live, but I just can't get over how reasonable the prices are! We'll have to give that area some serious consideration!

You are right, the apartments are reasonable. Lots of shopping, restaurants, activities. You'll like it! I am single and there are lots of us but there are also young couples and families. Great mix. Only drawback: traffic, but heck, that's everywhere, right?

It is a nice area you will find it a good safe overall city lots of shopping plenty of nature nearby and easy commute to charlotte for work or entertainment.

Traffic is heavy but not extreme and I cant wait til I figure what this crazyness they are doing to gilead. If it nearby property owners designing this layout they need to stick to building structures not roads it all wacked lol
I feel like im going thru a corn maze lol

As long as there is new construction prices will stay decent also there is a new apartment living coming soon in rosedale just avoid Deer Hill and I think the other one is called Huntersville apt I think they tend to be a little sketchy. Other than that rest are nice
