I'd like to apologize for the tone of my exchange with you on the Xmas (Places open on Christmas) thread.

In the spirit of the New Year I'm going to make a concerted effort to not commit the three (actually, four, if you include not posting before coffee ) sins of posting: 1. not posting when tired. 2. not posting when hungry. 2 (and most important) not posting when PMS'ing.

That week I did all three and realize that I could have expressed my views in nicer way.

On the way home from picking up my kids from pre-school today I read a church sign which said, "Clean Slate".
Now, you know I'm not religious, however I did think this was a good message for everyone and I intended to take it to heart.

I always just take it for granted that even if people don't agree on a certain issue they probably will on a myriad of other issues. That doesn't mean I should be mean about disagreements, though, and I apologize for that.

You gave me a wonderful suggestion on what to do with a table I wanted to sell and I did end up consigning it, so thank you for that. I appreciate the selflessness of wanting to help someone who asked for it.

I sincerely hope you have a great 2011.
