Good luck. If this helps, I teach science and I tell my students that my job is not to convince them but to give them the different theories that are out there. I do not fault them if they do not agree. Again they are all theories which can be disproved or changed at any given time and that not everyone accepts or believes them.
thanks! I struggled tremendously with that assignment. I am only taking it because I have Have you ever heard of a learning disability called Dyscalculia (also acalculia) (http://www.as.wvu.edu/~scidis/dyscalcula.html - broken link). I cannot take math classes and was told to take geology instead. (by the disability dept. of CPCC). I e-mailed the instructor and told him...we'll see how it goes.
(and, no, I did not tell him that I disagreed with the whole theory...)
