Need Opinions on Lake Forest

Chet - I mostly agree with your perspective, but have to disagree with you on the generations of money thing.

If I hadn't lived through it for the last 2 years personally, I would tend to agree with you...I can tell you unequivocally, that there is a power base that exists in Lake Forest of which not many people are aware of or get exposed to that stem from generations of wealth, power, and a sense of entitlement. Families of wealth in Lake Forest mingle easily in the playground....but when push comes to shove, and disagreements arise, it becomes absolutely, positively clear who calls the shots, makes the decisions, and has the upper hand.

And based upon experience......in my opinion, it isn't the folks that have transferred into the community with parents that have two degrees and no roots.......

I was speaking more specifiically of the situation with student athletes at Lake Forest High School. I really don't know what kind of "push & shove" situation you may have gotten entangled in...
