I am picking someone up from the airport this week and we wanted to grab a quick bite to eat. I found Tony's Italian Beef around 71st and Pulaski. How is this area safety wise? Parking? Thanks.

I assume you mean Midway Airport? Tony's is good, but if you want a beef sandwich, there's a better spot near the airport(Donald's Hot Dogs on Central Ave. about a block south of I55). Safety wise they're both fine. I grew up about 1/2 mile from Tony's. They have a small lot next to the store, and there's a few spots on the street in front. How do you know about Tony's?

Places like these I really miss, being here in Wisconsin. There's nothing up here. Also the pizza here sucks.

Tony's is perfectly safe, and it is a favorite dining option of the CPD if you feel sketched out for any reason. Italian beef is not my thing, so I will not pretend to tell you whether Tony's is a good option. I have had much worse beefs elsewhere, however.

Parking is found in the small lot to the side of the restaurant as noted. There is always a spot or two in the lot, but the street spots out front might be taken depending on when you stop by there. As I have never tried Donald's Hot Dogs, I cannot comment on whether it is a better choice than Tony's.

Yeah, Midway Airport. Should have mentioned that. I actually just did a search of the area to find some spots to go to. I'll look into Donald's too, thanks.

Yeah I imagine you are missing out on some great Chicago food up in Wisconsin. When I lived out of state the first thing I did when I got back in town was order a deep dish pizza or hit Portillo's.
