When Obama took office many people were not happy. Trust me on this. A large amount of companies put a freeze on hiring blacks and many companies started looking for ways to fire blacks.

I don't have a graph or a link to prove it, but I can assure you, it is happening.

You didn't read what I wrote!

I said that Chicagoans tend to embrace the segregation as a good thing. I've never heard that before. I never wrote that Chicago was the only city that's segregated. READ!

I grew up in St. Louis that is a little different demographics than Chicago but still manages to be in the top 10 most segregated cities. I never heard anyone say that segregation was a good thing as long as I lived there. Many neighborhoods in the city that have made a come back are successful in part because of racial integration by transplants who enjoy urban living.

There are successful neighborhoods throughout the country that have people living next door to each other who are different. Segregation doesn't have to be.

That isn't surprising.

I know people from coast to coast and I have heard many people say segregation is a good thing. Chicagoans are not the only people that I have heard say that. I should have clarified better.

Well maybe I'm not listening to the same people. I have noticed very few blacks even here in Chicago believe that segregation is positive.

Non blacks do tend to think different. But there again non blacks especially Hispanics seem to integrate better in Chicago.

I would love to spend a week with you just to see what kind of Hispanics and women you come in contact with. I just had a conversation with a lady today about the Wicker Park/Bucktown area, years ago before the gentrification. She mentioned how the Hispanics treated her and her brother with more respect than the lighter skin black man they were with. The Hispanics thought her and her brother were Hispanics. Her brother and her are Black. The Hispanics told her not to bring the Black guy back to the area. As far as women in Chicago liking gay men. Some do, but Chicago is not liberated like coastal cities and many of the people (especially the Blacks) are very unexposed. There are a certain type of gay man that gets a pass among these women. If you are masculine and good looking most likely they won't view you as one of their girlfriends. I know that last part was off topic, so please excuse me.

Who are you talking to? Skinheads and Klansmen? I've never heard anyone with an ounce of credibility anywhere say segregation is a good thing.
