Bucktown is overrated (though it has some nice homes if you want a nice place to live, and I still like Danny's). Wicker Park is still OK though it's less cool now than it once was. I know people who grew up in NYC who love Wicker Park and I know other people who are from big cities in Europe who love it too who don't like many other parts of Chicago - your stereotypical bull**** doesn't work.
