I think they are going to go with another minority and probably a woman.

I personally think it may be Carole Brown current CTA Board Chairwoman.

I do not disagree there at all. He actually has done quite decently for someone with no experience in public transportation. The guy before was a complete joke.

But we still deserve better.

In some ways I think this could be a good move. It is basically a decision between someone with a lot of experience in the field (which can lead to being attached to failed ideas) or someone with good management skills (who doesn't know the field well enough to get the job done). Ideally you'd like someone who has has the management skills without the baggage, but based on my work in the private sector that is a very rare thing.

Looking at what Huberman has done so far I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, but keep an eye on him. Brown could be a very good replacement.
