Yea I saw that. I dont know what the fines are for vandals but it should be more strict. Maybe then some of these idiots would think twice if they had to pay a 10k fine.

This kind of thing was inevitable. Im sure it can be polished out, but now I understand why the security there is as strict as they are.

Unfortunately this sort of thing is common. You see grafitti on monuments even when travelling abroad in Europe, etc.

Gee, I wonder if the guy's last name is "Peters"... I hope they snatch this chump from his Schaumburg high school and make an example out of him. The dollar value of this vandalism may push the offense into the felony range. Idiot.

I'm figuring that the camera images and name might lead to someone... Hard to say though, since Millenium Park gets so many visitors from all over the country. Maybe he had lunch at Park Grill and charged it to his credit card...
