Bridgeport - I picture multiple bridges.

Not all of Roseland is awful actually. I know you didn't say that, but still I had to put in my two cents.

Speaking of which, Beverly. People who didn't grow up in the Chicago Southland usually think you're pulling their leg when you tell them there is a Chicago neighborhood called Beverly Hills.
Sometimes I thought someone was pulling my leg when I walked outside and saw my beautiful neighborhood. Oh, how I loved living there. Wonderful, wonderful neighborhood. Beverly Hills will always be in my memories.

Jewtown

that has to be the most hilarious one ever, just the visuals. That is today called University Village, prior to that Maxwell Street.

Yeah you can throw an "estates" or "beach" or "park" on the end of any neighborhood and you're upper middle class by Tuesday.

Would you live in a neighborhood called Piggsville?

"hey where you from"

"oh Piggsville!"

Try to explain that one to an outsider.

There's 'Dogtown' in East LA and 'Cabbagetown' in Atlanta.

Cabbagetown sounds much better than Piggsville, also has some great restaurants.
