I am tired of Las Vegas. I have lived here for five years now it is time to go. I am tired of the lack of trains and rain and snow. I am tired of the HEAT and the roaches. I need to be near water and trees and class and sophistication. I am going to plan on moving to Chitown!

So please fill me in what is it like to live in Chicago? Is it expensive?

It's expensive compared to Vegas, but cheap compared to New York/Boston/San Fran/Washington. You'll have plenty of what you're looking for: trees, snow, rain, trains, and only a few days a year that are unbearably hot -- average July high = 83 degrees.

I love Chicago. It is the biggest convenience store in the midwest. If you can't buy it, eat it, wear it, read it, watch it, sail it, drive it, ride it, send it, find it, or take a picture of it in Chicago. You can't have it. The good news is you don't have to fly to NYC to get it.
