Lakeview is a little more sports-oriented than Wicker Park at least in terms of the pub scene. A studio at $800 is not unheard of but it may be a little hard to come by.

Don't lie, search through Craigslist, you'll find tons cheaper than $800. You can find nicer studios on GOLD COAST & downtown loops for $800-$1000

Don't believe me? Just browse craigslist.
Lincoln Park, Bucktown, Wicker Park, Lakeview, Oldtown, Wrigglyville often have studios for $500-$800; its not hard to come by. My sister just rented a 3 bed in wicker park for $1,100

"Don't lie?" Uhm.... genius, I gave a very measured, highly qualified assessment of his odds of finding a studio in Lakeview for under $800. Not exactly a "lie" because it's not even a factual claim.

You'll do just fine regarding female companionship. The chicks in this city are suckers for a dude with a British accent. You can order a value meal from McDonald's and they'll be dropping their panties.
