But, he who does not believe the Son, shall not see life.

Of course, we know what that means? Right?

Consider this: Justified by our faith in Christ or through the "faithfulness of Christ?"

You had better understand what it means, because your eternal future depends upon it.

A person is justified through faith in Christ. No one is justified until they first believe in Christ at which time God the Father imputes His righteousness to the one who has believed.

Gal 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

Gal 3:6 Even so Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.

Rom 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is reckoned as righteousness.

Romans 3:26 'for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Thanks Phaze....I could have said it myself but just didn't feel the need to subject anyone else to the continued inane rantings.

The righteous are justified by faith in Christ as our 100% subsitute from God's wrath.

The unrighteous are judged by faith in their own efforts. They will recieve the full measure of God's wrath. That is why they will be called liars by God.

God's plan of salvation:
  • Salvation is a free gift of God (Romans 4:5, 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 John 1:8-10)
  • Salvation is by faith not by works (Romans 3:26-28; Romans 4:13-19; Galatians 2:16; Galatians 3:8-26

  • Salvation will be for whoever believes Jesus died for your personal sins (John 3:16; John 3:36; John 6:40; John 6:47 and many more)
  • Salvation will be for those who only believe in Jesus Christ before they die (Acts 4:12)
  • Salvation will be in heaven for eternity with Him (John 5:24; John 6:40; Romans 10:4)
  • Salvation will be based on being declared "just, righteous" perfect, holy" because of faith by God himself (Acts 13:39; Romans 5:9; Romans 8:33; Galatians 2:16
God's view of unbelief :
  • Those who reject Jesus Christ, before they die, are condemned already (John 3:18)
  • Those who reject Jesus Christ, after they die, will go to hell forever (Mark 3:29; Revelation 20:11-15, 21:8)
Hell:
  • Hell is a place of punishment (Matthew 25:41, 46; Revelation 19:20)
  • Hell is eternal (Matthew 25:46)
  • A place designed for the Devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41)
  • Is where the unbeliever (those who God calls liars) are sent (Matthew 25:41; 1 John 5:10)

I think it is sooo funny, and a little sad if you think about it, how most Christian fundies and Eternal Torment and literal Hell believers think that each other are going to hell because of the many other various differences in their beliefs.

The "legalism" fundies believe the "salvation by grace alone" fundies are going to hell for "willfully sinning" ... While the "salvation by grace alone" fundies believe that the "legalism" fundies are going to hell because they seek to earn salvation by works and do not depend completely on Christ for their salvation.

Then you have the "Dispensationalist" fundies who believe that the "preterist" fundies are going to hell because they teach heresy concerning eschatology, and vice versa ...

"Catholic" fundies believe "protestant" fundies have apostatized, and Vice versa, and therefore are not true Christians and unless they repent will burn in hell for eternity ...

And they all believe Christian Universalists are damned for eternity by default ...

Etc. etc. etc. ...

I'm sure there are some exceptions to the rule in each sub class of fundamentalist Christianity, but for the most part they are all condemning one another to eternal torture for one reason or another ..

Talk about a house divided against itself. They are all in condemnation over one another and over the whole world for that matter. The fundamentalist Christian religion is the most divided religion on the planet.

Only Christian Universalists do not condemn anyone or believe that anyone will go to hell or be tormented forever, and allow for others to believe however they will even if we believe them to be in error, having faith in Christ and trusting him to accomplish Gods plan and purpose for the ages, which is his will and desire to have all people to be saved and eventually come into a knowledge of the truth.

The more i witness the threats and condemnation and self righteousness and pride and hatred and bigotry and hypocrisy of traditional orthodox fundamentalist Christianity, the more thankful i am to God for dragging me out of that great harlot when he did ...

Thank you God!

Peace ...

Trusting that God is powerful enough to do whatever he wants with whomever he wants at whatever time he wants?? What a concept.
