Imcurious, just to clarify why i bolded little elmers post . I was agreeing with little elmer that the standard set is, it's not just Bush who needs to be judged on the content of his character but ourselves too (regardless of political persuasion), including President Obama, . This was not a political statement by me , but an acknowledgement by me that i agree with the statement made. I actually highlighted that particular part of the post in response to the unfair Bush bashing by a certain poster, for her to be aware that we are all judged by the content of our character, otherwise i do not think i would have made the agreement post.

Actually Heartsong it was you who prompted me to bold the part of little elmers post, with your continual bashing of republicans and Bush.
My continual bashing of Republicans and Bush? Where? Can you pull up examples of that here on City/Data? I don't even post often, and as far as I recall, it is usually not about politics. But when people post outright lies about our current President, I do feel inclined to set the record straight. Let's face it, the Republican party has been completely overtaken by gun-loving, war-mongering extremists. I just can't picture Jesus in that group. I realize my opinion on this is bound to raise the ire of certain folks. Oh well.

Hey, maybe you're right. I don't remember him giving political speeches. Maybe he knew about the power corrupts thingy.

Says who ?

I don't recall a political post on this thread apart from American Christians are ready to kill, which you obviously mean those republicans that you tarred with the same brush as being, gun loving and war mongering extremists, so considering you are the only one with politica statementsl on this thread, what record needs to be put straight on this thread ??? . I think it comes across as border line hatred towards those who are not of the same political persuasion as you

I also suggest you read back through some of your previous posts

What big end in 2012? I mean - you must be referring to the Mayan thing but I don't think anyone has mentioned that on this thread except for you (did I miss it?).

I'm a tad more worried about 11-11-11. I should have said that yesterday

No need to worry, the worst that can happen is the Rapture.
